THE LITTLE PICTURE HOUSE
1930 · Crime melodrama · USA · English · Black & white
About the film
Mary Gray and her fiancé elope to Atlantic City, where a jewel thief slips stolen pearls into her handbag. After a shootout, a chambermaid named Clara helps Mary escape. But Clara has ties to the gang, and the pearls are still missing.
A wedding trip gives way to a crime story in which Mary has to decide whom she can trust. Natalie Moorhead’s Clara is right at the centre of that uncertainty.
