THE LITTLE PICTURE HOUSE
1932 · Mystery · USA · English · Black & White · approximately 64–67 minutes
About the film
A homicide chief tries to help an old friend whose husband is involved with Miriam King. When Miriam is found murdered, a private scandal becomes a police investigation, drawing him into a dangerous web of blackmail, suspicious deaths and conflicting loyalties.
Personal feelings complicate the search for evidence when a detective’s friend becomes entangled in a murder case. The intrigue comes from the distance between respectable appearances and private conduct, as every revelation makes trust a more difficult choice for the investigator.
