About the film
Three inexpensive music boxes are sold at a London auction. To their new owners they seem ordinary curiosities, but someone is willing to go to extraordinary lengths to recover them.
When an old friend of Dr Watson is drawn into the mystery, Sherlock Holmes takes an interest in the boxes and their unusual tunes. A charming but dangerous woman is also on the trail, turning a musical puzzle into a battle of wits where every note could matter.
